FOLLOWING THE PATH OF ERNEST COE
Father of
Everglades National Park

In 1925 Ernest Coe moved to Palm Beach at age 60 and learned of the place called
everglades.  When he stepped onto her land, he knew he had found his life's work.

In 2010, Lois met Dick Jay at his oh so private studio and saw this figure in the corner.

It was Ernest Coe.  Marjory Stoneman Douglass said, "Mr. Coe has never been given his due credit."

Thanks to Dick Jay, many will now know of Mr. Coe.

Thanks to NTT's CEO, Randy Smith and COO, Tamir Rankow, Mr. Coe now has a permanent home, along with with Marjory and their freinds at the  Heritage Trail Museum.

We look forward to you meeting them and learning of their stories.
